    We need another Development Coach`

Now that Fruity has gone to the dark side, we will need another Development Coach. My guess is that Frosty will get upgraded, and that probably Leo may get a gig. He hinted to me personally (my new best friend) at the CC Dinner that he wasn't going to be going very far from the SCG in 2010, so that's my uninformed bet.

    Anyone?

I have enough trouble keeping track of playing list changes let alone entering into speculation on the coaching panel!

I think Paul Roos next year would make an awesome reserves/development coach. That would fulfill his criteria of still being around the club, working with player development and having more time with his family.

        Perfect fit, sign him up!!

Then he'd have to come and speak to us fans at the Noble aftermatch!

I doubt if visiting Canberra every second week would fit the "time with family" criteria.

Crouchy is such a contained person, I am sure his wine business will take up all the other time that his charity work doesn't.

MickyO is working with indig kids out west if I remember correctly and has been doing so for some time. He has also taken up a position (part time I would imagine) with the AFL/AIS development along with Matthew Lloyd.

SO, that leaves us with Leo, and a fine thing too. He is very approachable and easy to talk to so he would be good working in development IF that rumour I started is correct, based on supposition and wishful thinking.

This preseason, we have had more news than most clubs and definitely more news than we used to have in previous preseasons. I think it could be the work of the 'new' CEO and appointments of staff to look after communication and media. What's more, most of the news have been very good ones. It will certainly help. However, with successive success in players recruitment, we are still waiting for the appointment of someone to replace Brett Allison. Although we still have McPherson and Maxfield, I think we still need a full time expert. Are we still looking for a replacement? Or are we going to cut cost and have one fewer coach? When will we know? Are there some recuitment process going on right now?

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
